The clock itself
Is there an app?
No, and the clock does not need one. You can optionally use your phone during the first setup, through a web page, with nothing to install.
Does it need internet?
Only once, during setup, to download two years of timetables. After that it works with the router unplugged.
Is there a subscription?
No. You buy the clock and that is the end of it. There is no account to make and nothing to renew.
Does it update itself?
Not yet. Software updates are not delivered over the network today. We will say so on this page when they are.
Is the interface available in Arabic?
Not today. The clock speaks English, Dutch and Turkish. Right-to-left layout is supported in the software, but the typeface we ship has no Arabic glyphs, so shipping it would mean shipping something worse than nothing.
Times and methods
Which adhan traditions are included?
Turkey and Mecca, which are the names the clock itself shows. You choose a tradition rather than a person. The Turkish one carries its own recordings for Fajr, Asr and Maghrib alongside its usual call; the Mecca one uses the same call at all of them. Both are complete: which prayers get a recording of their own belongs to the tradition, not to a setting.
Is there a dua after the adhan?
Yes, and it is off by default. It plays when the adhan finishes, at the same volume. It is the same supplication whichever tradition called the prayer, so it is not filed under one pack: the switch is in the general settings.
Can I turn a prayer off?
Every prayer has its own switch, and there is one volume for all of them. The morning call comes 45 minutes before sunrise rather than at Fajr or at sunrise itself: Fajr has to be finished before the sun is up, so a call at sunrise would announce a window that has already closed. If you would rather be called at Fajr, turn Fajr on and turn that one off.
Which calculation method should I choose?
If your community follows Diyanet, leave it alone: that is the default, and it is a published timetable rather than a formula. Otherwise choose whichever your mosque uses. If you do not know, ask there before changing it.
The times are a few minutes off from my mosque.
Shift each prayer by up to thirty minutes in the settings. The published time is kept underneath, so you can always see what you changed.

Where do you ship?
Anywhere in the European Union, and to Türkiye. Everything is posted from Belgium.
Can I send it back?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery, for a full refund. That is our own extension of the 14 days the law gives you.
What if it breaks?
The legal guarantee is two years from delivery. Write to us and we will repair it, replace it or refund it.
